About me

Hello I am Dennis a Photography buff who likes to Capture Moments in Time, One Photo at a Time.

Dennis is a fine art landscape photographer from Quincy, Massachusetts. He has spent the last ten years actively pursuing the art of photography throughout Massachusetts, but is especially drawn to locations along the coast. As a life-long resident in the Boston area gives him a unique perspective on some of the more popular landmarks, and also some of those that can only be found off the beaten path.

Dennis has no formal training in photography, but rather allows nature to be the teacher and classroom. Studying through trial-and-error, he subscribes to the philosophy that each day spent shooting in the field is an opportunity to discover something new about how we view the world. Through the years Dennis has learned to approach each scene with an open mind to Capture Moments in Time. Having the ability to share Gods wonderful craftsmanship though his photography gives him peace and serenity to express his connection with nature. When out shooting photography he lets the Spirit lead him to where he can capture that exact moment in time so with every photo taken he sees what his heart feels. What we see with our eyes is not always what we feel in our hearts.

His technique and style is ever changing, but a common theme throughout involves capturing the interplay of natural light with the environment. This often means shooting in the early morning or late evening when the light is best. As with many classically trained landscape photographers, you will see that Dennis tends to avoid shooting people, but is not afraid to capture the interaction of man with nature through such things as boats, bridges and lighthouses. Every photo he places for sale is a part of his heart and he knows it will bring brightness into a person’s heart.

Dennis always enjoys meeting new fans so feel free to contact him to introduce yourself, ask a question, or just talk about photography!
